Read moreI recently had the pleasure of undergoing a
LANAP procedure with Dr. Abril. He was incredibly
professional and thorough while also being patient
enough to make sure all my questions were
answered. After the LANAP procedure, my
periodontal health has never been better. Would
highly recommend to anyone!
Jon G. — LANAP Patient.
Dr. Abril made me feel so comfortable; and
calmed all of my fears; and anxiety. He answered
my questions and took time to explain each step
of the surgeries.
Tiffany F. — Patient with dental anxiety.
"Dr. Abril takes great care in covering the donor site, and there was literally no pain from the roof of my mouth at all. I kept waiting for the pain as the novocaine wore off, but I was able to stop taking ibuprofen by the next day. The entire office experience was smooth and the results are very good. Don't be nervous about the recovery!"
Douglas C. — Gum Graft Patient
The best treatment possible by Dr. Abril! I highly
recommend him.
Frank O. — Implant Patient (3-Year Follow-up)
"Out of the blue, I broke a front tooth. It was traumatic and scary, but finding Dr. Abril and his 'tooth-in-a-day' procedure was a massive stroke of good luck. I can't believe that within 24 hours of breaking it, and after just 3 hours in the chair, I walked out with a new tooth in place feeling like a new man. In a few months, I'll return for the final tooth, but the temporary one I have today exceeded any expectations I had. Amazing. Thank you!"
Mike — (Emergency 'Tooth-in-a-Day' Patient)
"My molar extraction and bone graft procedure with Dr. Abril was quick, excellently done, and as close to pain-free as possible. I feel it's important to stress how comfortable and positive my experience was. I cannot recommend him enough. ¡Él es tan fantástico!"
Chris K. — Molar Extraction Patient

A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as the placement of dental implants. They receive an additional 2 to 3 years of specialized training beyond dental school.
"Tooth in a Day" is an advanced procedure where a damaged or failing tooth is removed, a dental implant is placed, and a temporary functional crown is attached all in a single visit, allowing you to leave the office with a complete smile.
LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) is a minimally invasive laser treatment used to treat gum disease. It targets and vaporizes harmful bacteria and diseased tissue without cutting the gums or requiring stitches, promoting natural bone regeneration.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or sedation, ensuring patients feel little to no discomfort during surgery, with mild post-operative soreness easily managed by medication.
You may need a gum graft if receding gums have exposed your tooth roots, leading to sensitivity, root decay, or an increased risk of bone loss.
Regular cleanings focus on the teeth above the gumline for healthy mouths, while deep cleanings (scaling and root planing) remove plaque and tartar from below the gumline to actively treat gum disease.
While advanced gum disease cannot be completely cured, it can be successfully arrested, managed, and controlled with proper professional treatment and daily home care.
Dental implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Unlike bridges, they don't require altering neighboring teeth, and unlike dentures, they anchor securely into the jawbone to stop bone loss.
Most people with missing teeth who are healthy enough for routine dental extraction or oral surgery are candidates, provided they have sufficient jawbone density to support the implant.
Preventative care involves brushing twice a day, flossing daily to remove interdental plaque, using an antiseptic mouthwash, and maintaining regular checkups and professional cleanings.
